General Information

We love students at HBC!  HBC is an easy walk or van ride from JMU and a short van ride from EMU and Bridgewater College.  Check out the van schedule or call 433-2456 to request a van if your dorm is not on the route.

Students are welcome to participate in any of our worship services.

9:00 a.m. - Caffeinated Worship - Contemporary Worship Service

10:00 a.m. (August through May) - Missio Dei - an ancient/future worship experience for students, young adults, and others with a digital worldview.  This worship service is held at the Baptist Student Center at 711 South Main Street (going toward downtown from the Bluestone part of JMU's campus).

11:10 a.m. - Classic Worship - Mosaic Worship Service

Coffee is served at every service.  Breakfast is served every Sunday morning at Missio Dei.

Dinner is free for college students at Wednesday night suppers at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall beginning Fall 2011.  Important Note!.....reservations are required weekly and can be made by calling the church office at 433-2456 or by e-mail at info@hbcalive.org.

HBC Community Wide "Operation Inasmuch" will be held Fall 2011 and you are invited to participate.  It's a one-day mission project that will give students the opportunity to go out into the community with HBC members and touch others with the love of Christ through various projects.

Transportation is provided for all HBC events.  Contact the church office for more information.
